Our Quebec City Lodging

In a 19th century house freshly and tastefully decorated with period pieces, L'Habitat accommodations provides:

• Living room with sofa bed, sound system (CD, tape, radio), cable TV, desk.
• Dining area with table settings for four.
• Kitchen completely equipped with appliances, utensils, cookware, serving dishes, soap and towels.
• Four piece bathroom, towels and soap provided.
• Bedroom with a new queen size Sealy, bed linens, full length mirror, dresser, desk, and side tables. Bedroom opens onto rear deck and garden courtyard.

Just below the walls of Vieux Quebec, historic St.Roch is a vibrant neighborhood, mixing all working classes, restaurants, shops, municipal library, theatres, corner stores ("depanneurs"), liquor and grocery stores, and riverside parks, all within earshot of the bells of St. Roch Cathedral. Besides announcing weekend masses, the bells peal every noon hour for the "Angelus".

Vieux Quebec, the historic heart of French Canada, is a 10 minute walk from L'Habitat accommodations. A free public elevator ("L'Ascenseur") takes you up the cliff from St.Roch to the level of old Quebec.
